Experience of liver transplantation in the regional clinical hospital

The purpose of the study is to summarize first experience liver transplants. Material and methods. Liver transplantation was performed at Regional Clinical Hospital. 5 transplants from a posthumous donor were performed. Based on available data, analysis carried out according following criteria: gender, age, MELD- Na index, cause cirrhosis, method transplantation, duration surgery, postoperative complications, average bed-day, outcome. Results. In total, donor. Among patients there 1 man 4 women. age men 41 years, women are 55.4 ± 9.2 years average. index 15 28, 17.8 5.1. When transplanting cadaveric liver, classical orthotopic used in cases, one piggyback technique used. surgical intervention minutes averaged 394 17.4. Postoperative complications Clavien-Dindo scale ranged I IIIb. bed-day patient’s stay hospital 20.2 8.9, including 6.2 1.7 days intensive care unit. all outcome satisfactory. Conclusion. results basis Hospital showed that performing such level operations possible multidisciplinary medical institution.
